Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting a Zero Trust and cloud-first security strategy, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will lead the implementation and management of Zscaler technologies while collaborating with IT stakeholders to ensure effective access control and data protection in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Zscaler solutions, including ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX
• Lead incident response and troubleshooting related to Zscaler, addressing issues like SSL decryption errors and access anomalies
• Integrate Zscaler logs into SIEM platforms to support threat detection and compliance reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 5 years of experience in enterprise security engineering, or a high school diploma/GED with 7 years of experience
• At least 2 years of experience directly supporting Zscaler solutions
• Hands-on experience with ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX in a production environment
• Proficiency with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, REST APIs)
• Zscaler certifications (ZCCA-IA, ZCCA-PA, ZCCP) are highly desirable
