Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced cybersecurity professionals will find a full-time remote opportunity as a Senior Security Engineer, responsible for enhancing the organization's security program through security architecture, vulnerability management, and third-party security assessments while collaborating with various stakeholders to mitigate cybersecurity risks.

Key responsibilities

• Assess security controls, identify risks, and support remediation activities to promote effective security practices
• Conduct security architecture reviews and provide oversight for Identity and Access Management (IAM) governance
• Lead enterprise vulnerability management efforts and perform third-party security assessments to ensure compliance and risk mitigation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or security engineering
• Experience supporting Identity and Access Management programs and conducting security architecture reviews
• Working knowledge of FFIEC guidance and NIST Cybersecurity Framework principles
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and cloud-based security technologies
