Senior Security Engineer
Job Summary
To scale and mature Cloud, Container, and Edge Security programs, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will actively engineer guardrails, automate threat detection, and build enforcement gates into CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with Engineering and Infrastructure teams, with the opportunity to work remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for Cloud, Container, and Edge Protection programs
- Manage edge and bot protection, including WAF, CDN, and DDoS mitigation
- Implement monitoring tools to detect vulnerabilities and ensure secure CI/CD processes
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, or similar roles
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)
- Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, OpenTofu, Helm) and security tooling
- Strong understanding of WAFs, bot mitigation, and API gateway security features
- Proven experience in secure design and architecture reviews
