Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with software development teams, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will ensure customer safety by inspecting application code for security issues, developing security automation tools, and providing security architecture guidance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Creating, updating, and maintaining threat models for various software projects
• Conducting manual and automated secure code reviews primarily in Java, Python, and JavaScript
• Developing security automation tools and providing security training for internal development teams

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience troubleshooting systems issues and automating tasks using command line tools
• 5+ years of experience identifying security issues and developing mitigation plans
• 4+ years of experience in scripting, programming, and security code review in common programming languages
• Knowledge of at least two programming languages such as Scala, Java, Python, C/C++, or Go
• 8+ years of Application Security or Development experience
