Senior Security Engineer II

Job Summary

To support a growing security team, the remote Senior Security Engineer II will design, implement, and maintain security services while collaborating cross-functionally to enhance security capabilities and manage incident response efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Designing, building, and operating solutions to continuously improve and automate security capabilities
• Leveraging data to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing security posture and executing improvements with stakeholders
• Leading incident response efforts, including analysis, containment, and mitigation strategies in a cross-functional environment

Required qualifications

• BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or 10 years of security domain experience without a degree
• 6+ years of experience in securing and deploying applications within Cloud Native environments
• 3+ years of experience in a dedicated application security role focused on secure SDLC and DevSecOps processes
