Senior Security Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a distributed team of engineers, the full-time Senior Security Engineering Manager will define the strategic vision and operational execution for detecting, investigating, and responding to security threats across multi-cloud environments while fostering an engineering-first incident response culture remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategic vision and roadmap execution for the Detection & Response program across multi-cloud infrastructure
• Build, scale, and mentor a global team of engineers across North America and India
• Oversee security incident response operations and drive post-incident reviews during high-severity security events

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software development, security engineering, or security operations, with 5+ years in engineering or security management
• Proven track record of building and scaling engineering teams across multiple time zones
• Deep technical expertise in detection engineering, incident response, and threat intelligence
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex security incidents with composure and clarity
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or equivalent experience
