Senior Security Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Security Officer to lead global security governance and compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an international team of cybersecurity professionals and oversee the security and compliance program
• Develop and manage the cybersecurity budget, ensuring alignment with business needs and financial targets
• Lead risk assessments and establish a Cybersecurity Incident Response Program to manage security incidents effectively

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, or related field; Master's Degree preferred
• 7-10 years of progressive IT experience with demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity
• Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) required
• Preferred certifications include Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Experience in managing cybersecurity budgets and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
