Senior Security Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Security Officer-Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an international team of cybersecurity professionals and oversee the security and cyber compliance program
• Develop and manage the company's cybersecurity budget while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory obligations
• Lead risk assessments and establish a Cybersecurity Incident Response Program for managing security incidents

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, or related field; Master's Degree preferred
• 7-10 years of progressive IT experience with demonstrated experience in cybersecurity
• Required: Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
• Preferred: Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO)
• Knowledge of ISO / IEC 27001 standards is advantageous
