Senior Security Operations Center Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Security Operations Center Analyst, this remote position will monitor for malicious activity, respond to incidents, and enhance security capabilities through collaboration and automation within the Security Operations Center.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor alert channels and investigate incidents, containing and mitigating threats as necessary
• Design and maintain detection content, continuously improving detection fidelity and efficacy
• Collaborate with the Red Team to validate new detections and improve overall security posture

Required qualifications

• Proficient in security tools such as EDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP solutions
• Hands-on experience with detection content development and familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework
• 2+ relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, CISM, GIAC, CompTIA Security+)
• Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows/Mac administration
• Strong motivation to learn new technologies and tools
