Senior Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Security Operations Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the log ingestion pipeline and close coverage gaps across federal and commercial environments
• Build and deploy detection rules mapped to MITRE ATT&CK and maintain operational dashboards for SOC metrics
• Serve as a senior escalation point for SOC incidents and improve incident response processes

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in security operations, detection engineering, or SIEM/SOAR engineering
• Hands-on experience with Google SecOps (Chronicle) or equivalent enterprise SIEM
• Production experience with SentinelOne or comparable EDR platform
• Deep knowledge of AWS security services and experience building detection rules
• Strong incident response skills with experience writing comprehensive reports
