Senior Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) protections, the full-time Senior Security Operations Engineer will manage DLP controls across corporate and cloud environments, investigate data exfiltration events, and contribute to security operations functions in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the response to DLP and data security incidents, including investigation and remediation of suspected data exfiltration
• Own the deployment, configuration, and continuous tuning of DLP controls to protect sensitive data across various platforms
• Develop and maintain DLP policies and automated response playbooks to enhance security operations

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in security operations, incident response, or security engineering with a focus on data protection and DLP
• Direct experience deploying and tuning DLP tools across endpoints, network, SaaS, and cloud environments
• Experience with Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) or similar SaaS security controls
• Advanced scripting/automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, KQL/SQL) for DLP/IR telemetry management
• Experience in designing data classification and policy frameworks for sensitive data types like PHI, PII, and PCI
