Senior Security Operations Engineer
Job Summary
Passionate about security and automation, the full-time remote Senior Security Operations Engineer will drive security projects, perform infrastructure reviews, and enhance detection and response capabilities to protect customers and the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Drive security projects that facilitate business functions and protect customers, brand, and employees
- Scale detection and response capabilities across environments and systems while tracking vulnerability remediation
- Proactively hunt for threats and perform regular on-call duties, including incident commander responsibilities during security incidents
Required qualifications
- 6 - 8+ years in a security role managing complex cloud environments
- Deep familiarity with cloud security, including AWS or Azure services
- Experience securing container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Background in automating security tasks with SOAR tools and/or programming languages like Python or Go
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as SOC2, ISO, CMMC, and FedRamp
