Senior Security Researcher

Job Summary

To lead innovative security research initiatives, the full-time Senior Security Researcher will conduct advanced threat analysis, collaborate with data science teams to develop detection capabilities, and contribute to ongoing efficacy testing in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Research and analyze network-based threats, including APT threat modeling and systems analysis
• Develop and enhance detection capabilities in collaboration with data science and product teams
• Conduct efficacy testing of detection models, producing gap analyses and remediation recommendations

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in attack and penetration testing, security research, malware analysis, or incident response
• Solid programming skills in scripting languages such as Python
• Proficiency with common attacker tools and frameworks like Cobalt Strike and Metasploit
• Knowledge of network protocols and experience with network traffic analysis tools such as Wireshark
• Understanding of advanced threat actor techniques and the ability to replicate them in controlled environments
