Senior Security Response Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Security Response Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor and respond to security alerts and events from various sources
• Conduct in-depth analysis of security incidents to determine root causes and recommend mitigation strategies
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and collaborate with internal security teams for continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Relevant educational degree in Information Security, Information Assurance, or Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience (3-5 years)
• Three or more years of technical experience in Large Enterprise Incident Response, Threat Hunting, or Cloud Security
• Proficiency with security technologies, including SIEM, EDR, and Cloud Security systems
• Advanced proficiency in Incident Response within Cloud Environments, particularly AWS
• Deep experience securing and responding to incidents within Kubernetes environments
