Senior Security SME (AI/ML, Cloud)

Job Summary

To support secure cloud systems in Federal and DoD environments, the full-time Senior Security SME (AI/ML, Cloud) will design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud infrastructure while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across system development and operations
• Secure AWS-based cloud environments and perform system hardening, vulnerability scanning, and incident response
• Support security architecture design for AI/ML capabilities and conduct security reviews of AI/ML models and pipelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) plus 7+ years of relevant security experience
• Hands-on experience securing on-premise/AWS environments with STIG/NIST-aligned architectures
• Proficiency in Python for automation and security tooling
• Experience with cloud security tools such as Splunk and Security Onion
• Active Top Secret clearance (SCI/Poly preferred, depending on program requirements)
