Senior Security Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated Senior Security Software Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for enhancing the maturity of the Application Security Team by conducting vulnerability triage, performing code reviews, and collaborating with development teams to ensure secure coding practices.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability triage and write fixes for identified security issues
• Review code and new product features to ensure security is integrated into the development process
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement long-term security solutions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in web application security
• Strong experience with code review, security architecture, and pentesting
• Experience in full-stack projects and fixing common web security vulnerabilities
• Familiarity with web application pentesting tools, such as Burp Suite
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs)
