Senior Server Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing digital platform, the full-time Senior Server Engineer will design and build backend services, APIs, and event processing systems while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead backend development using Java and related technologies to create scalable microservices
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures, ensuring reliable integrations with internal and third-party systems
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews, mentorship, and driving architectural decisions across multiple teams

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on backend engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
• Advanced proficiency in Java using frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Dropwizard
• Proven experience in designing distributed systems and microservice architectures
• Hands-on background with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
