Senior Server Engineer

Job Summary

Joining the Overwatch development team in Seoul, the full-time Senior Server Engineer will design, build, and maintain server systems for a large-scale live service game, focusing on performance, reliability, and feature implementation in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain server-side systems for non-gameplay features and live services
• Support and enhance live service infrastructure with a focus on reliability, performance, and scalability
• Debug and resolve complex issues in live production environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, particularly in server or backend development
• Experience shipping at least one AAA title as a server engineer
• Strong expertise in C/C++ within networked or server environments
• Extensive knowledge of networking, client/server communication, and distributed systems
• Proven experience supporting live services in production environments
