Senior ServiceNow Developer

Job Summary

To enhance operational support for key Library of Congress ServiceNow applications, the remote contracted Senior ServiceNow Developer will lead development and maintenance efforts, including analyzing existing code, implementing enhancements, and coordinating upgrades while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the development and enhancement of custom scoped applications within the ServiceNow platform
• Analyze existing workflows and code, estimate backlog stories, and implement fixes and enhancements
• Coordinate Dev/Test/Production promotion and support ServiceNow upgrades in collaboration with product owners and security teams

Required qualifications:

• 12+ years of IT experience, with at least 7 years specifically in ServiceNow
• Hands-on experience with complex custom/scoped ServiceNow applications and the Customer Service module
• Proficiency in AngularJS, HTML/CSS, JSON, and Python
• Experience with MARC21, ONIX, and Integrated Library Systems
• Active certifications in ITIL v3 or higher, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
