Senior SharePoint Migration Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior SharePoint Migration Specialist to join a fully remote opportunity focused on SharePoint and cloud migrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and support large-scale migrations from legacy systems to SharePoint Online within the Microsoft 365 environment
• Lead migration strategies, perform content assessments, and utilize migration tools for secure and efficient transitions
• Troubleshoot migration issues and ensure successful post-migration adoption while focusing on security and compliance

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with SharePoint, including significant migration project experience
• Proven experience migrating from SharePoint on-prem / file shares to SharePoint Online (M365)
• Hands-on experience with migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix, Microsoft Migration Manager)
• Experience with content discovery, assessment, and remediation planning
• Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, permissions, and information governance
