Senior Shopify Developer

Job Summary

Owning the Shopify architecture end to end, the full-time remote Senior Shopify Full Stack Developer will drive AI-powered engineering workflows, build customer experiences, and maintain site performance across multiple storefronts.

Key responsibilities

• Own the shared theme and design system architecture for scalability across current and future brands
• Architect and ship major features from design handoff to production, enhancing customer experiences
• Build and maintain integrations between Shopify Plus and backend systems while ensuring site performance and reliability

Required qualifications

• 7-10 years of full stack development experience, with at least 4 years in building Shopify themes and apps using Liquid and React
• Proven track record of owning front-end and back-end Shopify builds from architecture to deployment
• Experience building shared themes or design systems across multiple brands or storefronts
• Deep knowledge of Shopify Plus, Liquid, React/Next.js, Node.js, Tailwind, GraphQL, and REST APIs
• Familiarity with headless commerce approaches and experience with AWS or GCP is a plus
