Senior Shopify Developer
Job Summary
To lead the development of AI-powered workflows, the full-time remote Senior Shopify Full-Stack Developer will take technical ownership of the Shopify Plus storefront, managing its design, implementation, and performance optimization using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Key responsibilities
- Own and develop the Shopify Plus storefront, creating scalable and reusable theme components from Figma designs
- Implement new functionality from development through QA and production release while improving performance, SEO, and code quality
- Collaborate with Tech Leads and Product Managers to translate business needs into technical solutions, identifying opportunities for technology and process improvements
Required qualifications
- Expert-level experience in Shopify Plus development with proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong frontend engineering skills with a track record of building responsive and high-performance storefronts from design specifications
- Experience with Shopify APIs, REST/GraphQL, and third-party app integrations
- Solid understanding of full-stack development, including backend technologies and databases
- Hands-on experience with AI development tools and automation, capable of leading AI-driven workflows
