Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to oversee and improve the performance and reliability of a mapping system.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and analyze performance and availability by managing product-related SLIs/SLOs
• Develop tools to proactively monitor service performance and avoid recurrence of issues
• Collaborate with product engineers to ensure reliable and scalable system design

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience and a Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience in scripting or procedural languages (e.g., Python, Perl, C/C++, Java)
• Experience working in a UNIX/Linux computing environment
• Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and logging platforms such as Grafana
• In-depth understanding of computer networking concepts and system design
