Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the reliability and performance of critical systems, the full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer will focus on improving deployment processes, managing incident response, and transitioning applications to containerized environments while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Transition applications from traditional deployments to containerized, orchestrated deployments in AWS and on-premises environments
• Build upon current CI/CD efforts to support various deployment strategies, including Blue/Green and Canary
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and improve common infrastructure for developers, including CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in a SRE/DevOps role supporting production systems
• Production experience with Linux-based infrastructure and AWS services (e.g., RDS, VPC, ECR)
• Demonstrable experience with deployment technologies such as Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or JavaScript
