Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing open-source email application, the full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer will design and maintain infrastructure and operational systems, develop CI/CD workflows, and enhance system reliability while working remotely with a distributed team.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and evolve an EKS-based Kubernetes platform, supporting migrations and reliability initiatives
• Design and develop CI/CD systems for websites and services, ensuring pipeline reliability and OIDC-based authentication
• Diagnose and debug production incidents, driving root-cause analysis and implementing improvements

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or site reliability roles, with hands-on Kubernetes experience
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, OpenTofu, or Pulumi on AWS
• Strong security awareness in infrastructure practices, including identity management and network controls
• Demonstrated ownership mindset with the ability to proactively identify and communicate risks
• Excellent written communication skills for effective collaboration with a geographically distributed team
