Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on building and scaling Coinbase's identity and access management (IAM) platform, the full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer will own the reliability, automation, and DevOps practices for IAM systems, ensuring 24x7 uptime and performance while working remotely with occasional in-person collaboration.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the reliability and availability of corporate IAM systems, managing incident response and root cause analysis
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to enhance identity platform deployments
• Collaborate with IT, Security, and Engineering teams as a subject matter expert on corporate IAM and DevOps tooling

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in site reliability or infrastructure engineering with a focus on IAM platforms
• Proven ability to build tooling for identity lifecycle management, SSO, and MFA at enterprise scale
• Proficiency in a modern programming language and experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Experience managing cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure with automated deployment frameworks
• Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly to improve workflow efficiency and quality
