Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on ensuring the reliability and operational excellence of a mission-critical financial technology platform, the full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer will lead incident resolution, automate operational workflows, and collaborate with product and infrastructure teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the resolution of complex incidents and conduct retrospectives to drive reliability improvements
• Own cross-cutting platform concerns such as observability, monitoring, and performance
• Partner with engineering leadership to embed reliability best practices into design and delivery processes

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software or systems engineering experience, including 3+ years in SRE or reliability-focused roles
• Demonstrated experience leading reliability initiatives
• Strong background in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), and microservices
• Deep expertise in observability, monitoring, and incident management
• Proficiency in modern programming languages (Java, Node.js/JavaScript) and scripting for automation
