Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

To support the scaling of Circle's platform, the fully remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer will manage system incidents, optimize database infrastructure, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a first responder for system incidents and outages to maintain system performance
• Own and evolve monitoring, alerting, and log management systems
• Manage and optimize database infrastructure, including MySQL, Postgres, Clickhouse, and Redis

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Site Reliability, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering role
• Deep expertise with AWS and Kubernetes
• Experience scaling production systems in a high-growth environment
• Practical experience using AI tools to improve engineering productivity
• Based in North or South America for timezone alignment with the team
