Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Site Reliability Engineer will manage monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting in production environments while focusing on reducing unactionable alerts and developing alert playbooks.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monitoring and alerting systems to ensure efficient production operations
• Reduce the rate of unactionable alerts and remediate noisy alerts to enhance team efficiency
• Develop severity classes and alert playbooks for improved incident management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with specialized training in technology
• Extensive experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, DataDog, and Service Now
• Proven track record of reducing unactionable alerts and remediating noisy alerts
• Experience in developing alert playbooks and severity classifications
• Strong familiarity with various tools within AWS
