Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of a new platform on AWS cloud technologies, the contracted-to-full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer will utilize strong Kubernetes and Terraform expertise while working remotely to enhance the payment system's architecture and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices-based architecture using domain-driven design principles
• Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration, ensuring scalability and high availability of the payment system
• Mentor junior team members and conduct technology evaluations to enhance payment infrastructure

Required qualifications

• Strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) is required
• 6+ years of experience in rearchitecting applications to cloud-native architectures
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud computing platforms
• Proficient in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
