Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer on the CCIP Platform team, the successful candidate will ensure the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of systems supporting Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), while improving deployment safety and reducing operational toil.

Key responsibilities

• Improve deployment safety and increase delivery velocity by advancing production engineering practices
• Establish distributed tracing across the platform to enhance observability and expedite incident investigation
• Drive adoption of meaningful SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets to guide engineering decisions and improve service health

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role with large-scale distributed systems
• Deep expertise in defining, implementing, and driving adoption of SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets
• Experience building and operating production Kubernetes environments for critical services
• Applied OpenTelemetry to enhance observability across distributed systems
• Proven track record in improving the reliability and scalability of production infrastructure
