Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure the Akuity platform meets enterprise customer expectations, the full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer will manage platform reliability, define SLIs/SLOs/SLAs, and lead incident response efforts while working remotely within US time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Own SLI/SLO/SLA definitions and drive continuous improvement for the Akuity SaaS platform
• Participate in on-call rotations and act as incident commander during high-severity production events
• Design and maintain observability systems across multi-region AWS infrastructure

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of SRE, platform engineering, or production operations experience in a SaaS environment
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes expertise with the ability to debug complex issues
• Strong AWS fundamentals including compute, networking, and storage services
• Experience defining and operating against SLOs in production environments
• Proficiency with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
