Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

To support the technology infrastructure at Counterpart Health, the remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer will manage automation tools, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a scalable infrastructure platform.

Key responsibilities

• Build systems for declarative application and infrastructure lifecycle management, including continuous deployment and Kubernetes cluster management
• Prioritize and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, minimizing downtime and responding to alerts efficiently
• Contribute to setting the direction of the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of programming experience with proficiency in Python, Go, or Shell Scripting
• In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies and orchestration, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, firewalls, and load balancing
• Experience with Linux system administration and understanding of Linux design principles
