Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the day-to-day administration of AWS services and databases, the full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer will ensure the production environment remains healthy, secure, and scalable while proactively monitoring and debugging a fully serverless platform in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Administer AWS services and databases, ensuring effective backup posture and disaster recovery plans
• Monitor production environments using CloudWatch dashboards and address operational issues proactively
• Lead incident response efforts, maintaining runbooks and participating in on-call rotations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of related experience or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability, or platform operations with significant responsibility for production systems
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, focusing on serverless services
• Strong database administration experience, particularly with PostgreSQL
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as TypeScript, Python, and bash
