Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a long-term contract basis, the Senior Site Reliability Engineer will architect, develop, and maintain cloud environments in both commercial and government clouds while collaborating with software engineers and DevOps teams to ensure a secure and high-performance infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and operate IaaS and PaaS infrastructure in Azure commercial and government clouds
- Identify and measure SLOs, SLAs, and SLIs in collaboration with development teams
- Automate alerts for metrics on performance, cost, vulnerabilities, and compliance violations
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in an SRE engineer/cloud platform role
- Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster setup and management
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Pulumi
- Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, or Splunk
- Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols
