Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Re-engineering the core Teleport product for global scalability, the full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer will optimize routing latency, enhance monitoring and observability, and manage traditional operational challenges while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Re-engineer and rewrite portions of the core Teleport product to support cloud goals
- Build and maintain the monitoring and observability stack to address production issues
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7/365 system uptime and investigate customer incidents
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Software Engineering and/or SRE/DevOps roles
- Strong experience in Linux systems, networking, containers, and troubleshooting
- Solid development experience in Go and Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS Cloud; GCP experience is acceptable
- Familiarity with systems observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
