Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Taking ownership of the Bitwarden Gov cloud infrastructure, the full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer - FedRAMP will manage operations, ensure security compliance, and implement reliability tools in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the Bitwarden Gov cloud infrastructure with a focus on security, reliability, and quality
- Evaluate and recommend improvements for infrastructure reliability, security, availability, and cost management
- Implement site reliability tools and respond to infrastructure outages as part of a 24x7 support strategy
Required qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience with FedRAMP, including continuous monitoring and vulnerability management
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking and multi-region deployments in public cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Demonstrable production experience with Kubernetes and cloud deployment automation tools (e.g., GitOps, Terraform)
- Competency in at least one programming language, such as C#, Python, or Go
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain security best practices
