Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To establish the reliability foundations for a growing health tech startup, the full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer will design reliability processes, shape the platform roadmap, and build core reliability tools while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement on-call rotations, incident management processes, and change management protocols
- Shape the platform roadmap by identifying problems, proposing solutions, and overseeing their adoption
- Build and maintain observability tools, CI/CD pipelines, and incident response strategies
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SRE, platform, DevOps, or backend roles with production ownership
- Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Python, Go, or TypeScript
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and improve processes rather than merely closing tickets
- Experience treating process as an engineering tool to enhance workflows and practices
- Strong collaboration skills, with a focus on engaging stakeholders and fostering communication
