Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the scalability and reliability of production services, the full-time Senior Site Reliability Engineer will develop a deep understanding of various applications and services, collaborate across teams, and manage infrastructure in a multi-site environment, including AWS.
Key responsibilities
- Build effective partnerships across Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to foster collaboration
- Participate in a 24x7 multi-site production infrastructure, handling deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Root-cause complex issues and ensure proper monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning in the production environment
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in troubleshooting and tuning systems, networking, and cloud services
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Proficiency in automating tasks using Node.js, Python, or other scripting languages
- Experience managing large distributed computing environments and cloud infrastructure
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience required
