Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and operation of a Kubernetes-based platform, the remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer will manage large-scale environments supporting FedRAMP High and DoD IL5, focusing on reliability engineering, automation, and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate large-scale Kubernetes platforms ensuring high availability and security
- Lead reliability engineering initiatives by defining SLOs, SLIs, and improving platform performance through automation
- Develop secure CI/CD pipelines and partner with engineering teams to implement compliance controls
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related fields
- Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes platforms in production environments
- Strong knowledge of FedRAMP High, DoD IL5, and compliance-driven operational practices
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and CI/CD tooling
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar programming languages, with experience in observability solutions
