Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To support the security, stability, and scalability of cloud services, the remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer will manage the reliability and availability of cloud platforms, collaborate with engineering teams, and develop innovative tooling to address reliability risks.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure high reliability and availability of cloud platforms while optimizing performance and implementing new infrastructure features
- Analyze complex issues across infrastructure, systems, and applications, providing effective recommendations and solutions
- Participate in on-call support duties to maintain cloud infrastructure performance and provide updates on project status
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and Site Reliability Engineering, focused on large-scale distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
- 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Crossplane, or Ansible
- 5+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, preferably with AWS and Azure
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python, Go) and software engineering concepts
