Senior SIU Investigator

Job Summary

Seeking a seasoned Senior SIU Investigator, this full-time remote position will lead proactive fraud investigations in life insurance and related products, ensuring compliance and safeguarding financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex fraud investigations across life insurance, annuity, and travel & accident products, overseeing case strategy and resolution
• Manage criminal and regulatory referrals, collaborating with law enforcement and regulatory bodies to support compliance and prosecution efforts
• Develop and enhance fraud detection methodologies using advanced analytics and investigative tools while mentoring SIU investigators and fraud analysts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Insurance, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 8 years of progressive fraud investigation experience, particularly in life insurance or financial services
• Deep knowledge of life insurance and annuity products, including associated fraud risks
• Advanced understanding of insurance fraud statutes and multi-jurisdictional investigative considerations
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex data sets and translate findings into actionable strategies
