Senior SIU Investigator

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior SIU Investigator to conduct remote investigations into suspicious claims, evaluating referrals, managing investigative assignments, and preparing detailed reports to identify potential fraud across multiple lines of business, including Workers Compensation.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate SIU referrals and prepare investigative plans of action based on identified suspicious elements
• Manage investigative assignments with vendors and control costs while ensuring effective communication with claims staff and law enforcement
• Conduct data analysis to identify suspicious claims and prepare comprehensive investigative reports documenting all phases of investigations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of SIU-related experience in insurance or law enforcement investigations
• Proficiency in investigative software applications such as TLO, ISO, and Accurint
• Experience with organized fraud rings and industry-related professional designations (e.g., FCLS, FCLA, CIFI) preferred
• Fluency in Spanish or other languages is a plus
