Senior Snowflake Administrator

Job Summary

Owning the reliability, security, and cost efficiency of the Snowflake on AWS estate, the full-time remote Senior Snowflake Administrator will design and automate platform operations, manage environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of secure Snowflake platforms and pipelines
• Manage Snowflake accounts, databases, and resource monitors, implementing security and compliance measures
• Build observability dashboards and alerts for performance monitoring and cost optimization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5 years of experience in platform or systems engineering, including Snowflake administration
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Expert understanding of AWS infrastructure components and production experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks
• Proficiency with CI/CD tooling, Git-based workflows, SQL, and scripting languages for automation
