Job Summary
Managing and optimizing the Snowflake data platform, the full-time Senior Snowflake Administrator will oversee platform access, performance, automation, and security while collaborating with technology and data teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage Snowflake accounts, user access, roles, privileges, and security configurations
- Optimize platform performance, query execution, resource allocation, capacity, and costs
- Automate routine platform activities, including schema creation and access provisioning
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of Information Technology experience
- 3+ years of experience administering and managing the Snowflake data platform
- Experience with DevOps or automation tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, or Python
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team
