Senior Snowflake Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and optimizing cloud data solutions, the full-time Senior Snowflake Engineer will manage the architecture of the Snowflake environment, including data ingestion, modeling, and performance tuning, while collaborating remotely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ELT/ETL workflows on Snowflake
• Architect and optimize Snowflake data models and warehouses for performance and cost efficiency
• Implement data governance, security, and quality standards across the platform

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience, with 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake development
• Expert-level SQL skills, including complex query design and optimization
• Strong experience with dimensional and/or data vault data models and ELT pipelines
• Proficiency with dbt for data transformation and modeling
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
