Senior Snowflake Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and optimizing cloud data platforms, the full-time Senior Snowflake Engineer will manage the architecture of the Snowflake environment, focusing on data ingestion, modeling, performance tuning, and governance in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ELT/ETL workflows on Snowflake
• Architect and optimize Snowflake data models, schemas, and warehouses for performance and cost efficiency
• Implement data governance, security, and quality standards across the platform

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience, with 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake development
• Expert-level SQL skills, including complex query design and optimization
• Strong experience designing dimensional and/or data vault data models
• Proficiency with dbt for data transformation and modeling
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
