Senior SOC Analyst

Job Summary

Senior SOC Analyst, a full-time position responsible for monitoring and responding to security events, conducting threat hunting, and coordinating incident responses within a remote security operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security tools for alerts and anomalies, and triage escalations from third-party SOC providers
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and lead incident containment, eradication, and recovery efforts
• Analyze security incidents and maintain SOC documentation, including runbooks and reporting on incident trends

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on SOC, incident response, or security operations experience
• Proficiency with a SIEM platform, preferably Palo Alto XSIAM
• Experience with EDR/XDR tooling such as CrowdStrike or SentinelOne
• Ability to read and write basic scripts or queries in languages like Python or Bash
• Availability for rotating shifts and participation in on-call rotation
