Senior SOC Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior SOC Analyst will manage incident escalations, develop and maintain operational procedures, and provide subject matter expertise in threat monitoring and response within a 24/7 Security Operations Center.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage security incidents, ensuring appropriate tracking and documentation
• Lead investigations into incidents and policy violations, coordinating with SOC staff to mitigate threats
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and technical playbooks to enhance SOC operations

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations and incident response, with at least 3 years in a SOC environment
• In-depth knowledge of SIEM technologies and experience with EDR and vulnerability management tools
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring junior analysts
• Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or CEH are preferred
• Ability to analyze and triage Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) effectively
