Senior SOC Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior SOC Engineer (Security Operations Technical Lead) to enhance their SOC capabilities in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and refine SOC processes and drive continuous improvement for service quality
• Lead investigations and major incidents while conducting post-incident reviews
• Deploy and operate security tools, integrating various platforms and engineering log onboarding

Required Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in MSSP settings, with at least 5 years on a SOC team
• Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR/MDR tools and Microsoft 365 security
• Proven track record in incident response leadership for medium/major incidents
• Experience in building playbooks and managing KPIs/OKRs
• BS in Computer Science/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
